Here’s all you need to know about preparation for any of our services and what you can do after to maximise the benefits.

Day Session Preparation

On the day of treatment, please eat something light two hours before your scheduled appointment so that your stomach has finished digesting and your bladder is empty. After your session, you may eat and drink as soon as you like. You will also be given complementary probiotic and antioxidant water.

After the Session

Do not worry if you are unable to have bowel movement for the first 3 days after your session - this is very common. To measure our entire digestive tube, it is actually about 7 times the length of our body when it is stretched out. Therefore, please be patient as it may take some time for your colon to be filled. It is advised not to consume alcohol after treatment.

Preparation for your treatment

For 1-2 days before coming in for the treatment, please follow the simple guidelines below.

1. Drink Lots Of Water

You should drink up to 8 cups of water a day!

  • Reduce risks of cancer

Tip: Juicing whole vegetables allows your body to absorb the nutrients quicker and better. It saves your body a lot of energy. The pulp is a great source of fiber so remember to keep it!

2. Consume a ‘Rainbow’ Diet

Regularly consume the full spectrum of colorful fruits and vegetables – red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. This provides the body the full contingent of pigments with powerful antioxidant effects as well as the nutrients it needs for optimal function and protect against diseases.  Eat a rainbow everyday!

3. Eat Less Acid Forming Foods

There is accumulating evidence that certain diseases such as osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis and gout, are caused by too much acid-forming foods in the diet. An acidic-forming diet decreases the body’s ability to repair damaged cells, absorb minerals and nutrients, the cell’s energy production and make our bodies more susceptible to illnesses and stress. 

Acid-forming foods:

  • Red meats

  • Rice

  • Pastas

  • Eggs

  • Grains

  • Legumes

Tip: You don’t have to completely eliminate animal protein from your diet, just have a balanced diet of 60-80% alkaline-forming foods and 20-40% acid-forming foods

4. Sleep Early!

It is no doubt that sufficient sleep is a key part of a healthy lifestyle. Studies have shown that the liver detoxification process is most effective and ideal between 11PM – 3AM in a deep sleep state.
